Getting Articles/Books from other libraries (ILL)
These will be filled digitally and sent to you via e-mail. You can also submit chapter requests for specific chapters of eBooks not part of NWP's collection.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a free service for NWP students, faculty and staff to request articles and books from other libraries that are not part of NEOS. You have your own Interlibrary Loan account where you can place and keep track of your article/book requests. When your article/book arrives at the NWP Learning Commons, you will receive an email message at your school email account. You can then pick up your article/book at the Circulation Desk.
Journal Articles: Requests can take up to 1.5 - 2 weeks to be filled. You will receive an e-mail in your student e-mail account that contains a link to the requested article. Download the article as soon as you receive this e-mail. Links are "live' for 14 days, or up to 3 downloads, whichever is less.
Print Books: Make sure the book is not available in another library in the NEOS catalogue. If it is, place a hold instead. Book requests through ILL usually take 1.5 - 2 weeks to arrive.
How to Log In to Your Account to Request an Article/Book
Go to your Interlibrary Loan account.
User Login = barcode on your library card (e.g. 1930001234567)
Password = last four digits of barcode on your library card (e.g. 4567)
NOTE: All Interlibrary Loan messages will come from the following email address: agpc@relaisill.com. Some email programs automatically filter this address, so check your junk mail folder periodically. You can also check the status of your requests by logging into your Interlibrary Loan account.
