Introduction to Motion

Motion is the description of an object's location with respect to time.  Motion can be in multiple directions.  It can be described by displacement, velocity, and acceleration.  It can be constant or variable.  In this section, we will review linear motion, motion described in terms of vectors, the fundamentals of projectile motion, and the introduction of relative motion.  If there are other math fundamentals that you would like to brush up on, please visit the Math Guide for more!
