Note: To allow fair access to all student, laptops will not be available for successive bookings. Loans will be for a maximum of 1 week with a 2 week unavailability period following.

Before signing out a laptop you must sign an agreement

By signing the agreement, you agree that...

  • You will return the laptop and accompanying equipment to the NWP Learning Commons as follows:
    • In good condition, with no damage beyond normal wear and tear – scuffs on bag, fingerprints on laptop, etc.
    • By the due date listed on the agreement and to a Learning Commons staff member at the front desk.
  • If you return the laptop late, you will be charged an overdue fee of $6.00 for each day late.
  • If you return the laptop broken or with parts missing, you will be charged for their replacement as follows:
    • Laptop                 $1700
    • Laptop charger   $150
    • Laptop bag          $75
    • External mouse $75
  • If you do not return the laptop and/or its accessories, or if you return the laptop and/or its accessories broken and do not pay for replacement, you will have a financial hold placed on my NWP account.
    • You understand a financial hold may prevent you from registering for future classes, graduating, and receiving any documentation from NWP until paid in full.
  • NWP has no responsibility for any data saved to the laptop, and you take full responsibility for backing up your data on a regular basis.
  • The laptop is for your personal educational use only (academic work and test-taking).
