The University of Toronto Engineering Writing Center in coordination with the University of Toronto Engineering Communication Center has developed an IEEE Citation Builder / Generator. Students can use this tool to create citations by simply inputting the necessary information on a source and selecting the "create" button.
*You may attempt to use this tool at your own discretion. However, it is highly recommended that you check all citations to see if the format and information is correct and accurate.
Important tips for using the Generator:
1. The bibliographical entry is only as accurate as the information you supply. BEFORE entering information, click on the links for each item and follow the format presented in the help file at the bottom of the page.
2. Underlining or italicizing will be lost when you import the completed entry into your word processing program. You must re-underline or re-italicize text after copying-pasting
