Student Academic Showcase 2025

The Student Academic Showcase is a celebration of the research Northwestern Polytechnic students do every day, both in and out of the classroom.

Each year we receive submissions from students who have completed or are working on research in their areas of study. Presenters must provide a poster summarizing their project.

Showcase Date: Wednesday, April 2, 2025 - 10:30 am to 2:30 pm

Where: Northwestern Polytechnic, Grande Prairie Campus 

Expression of Interest: Friday, February 21, 2025

Application Deadline: Monday, March 10, 2025

Poster Submission Deadline: Saturday, March 22, 2025

How to Participate

1. Apply
   1. Check that you and your project are eligible.
   2. E-mail an expression of interest by Friday, February 21 to jafehr@nwpolytech.ca. It should include a description of your topic in fewer than 100 words.
   3. Submit the completed application form by Monday, March 10 to jafehr@nwpolytech.ca.
2. Prepare
   1. Create a poster that summarizes your project using a template provided by the Learning Commons.
   2. Submit the completed poster file by Saturday, March 22 to jafehr@nwpolytech.ca.
3. Present
   1. Attend the Student Academic Showcase on Wednesday, April 2 to present your project.
   2. Congratulations -- you're done!
