VETgirl is a subscription-based multimedia service offering RACE-approved, online continuing education for veterinary professionals.

There is a free basic level subscription available. As a NWP vet tech student you may be able to receive a complimentary ELITE membership while you are an enrolled student.

VetFolio allows users to access a wide variety of information, including numerous publications, articles for veterinarians and technicians, and podcasts. While a subscription is needed to view CE videos and resources, you are able to access some articles and podcasts for free.

The Monster Hunter's Guide to Veterinary Parasitology is one of the world's largest parasite image databases. This is a free resource that may be used to identify internal and external parasites. We have 3,000+ parasite images, which can be searched by name (Genus Search) or appearance (Image Search).

Dr. Lance Wheeler is the owner and creator of The Monster Hunter's Guide to Veterinary Parasitology. Lance earned his veterinary degree at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He is the primary photographer, author, and web designer. He loves animals, parasites, veterinary medicine (especially emergency medicine and infectious diseases), microscopy, science fiction, funk and classical music.

Dr. Kaitlan Hovis is an author and photographer for The Monster Hunter's Guide to Veterinary Parasitology. Kaitlan earned her veterinary degree at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She loves animals, the absence of parasites, veterinary medicine (especially oncology), spending time with family and her pets, catnaps, and classic rock.
